Kelton Davis

Kelton Davis is an American fantasy author from Austin, Texas. Born in the Pineywoods of East Texas and graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, he’s spent his life surrounded by the rich natural landscapes of the American South and the varied stories of the people who live there. His current project, Blood from Stone, is a twist on the classic vampire tale set against a western gothic fantasy setting inspired by the desolate and breathtaking deserts of the American Southwest.

A lifelong fan of fantasy in any form, Kelton is particularly drawn to stories whose themes resonate with real-world experiences while being explored in ways that only fantasy makes possible. He’s a sucker for magic swords, knights, and an emotional gutpunch of any form, and will tear up at just about anything remotely touching in fiction.

When not writing, Kelton lives in Austin, Texas and enjoys teasing his tricolor Welsh Corgi, playing video games, and convincing his wife to let him expand his ever-growing sword collection.
